To conserve coral reef ecosystems in the United States, the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force works across seven coral reef states and territories and with the Freely Associated States. Fourteen federal agencies, seven states and territories, four fishery management councils, and three Freely Associated States make up the Task Force.
